Prepress & Printing Guidelines
Before sending a job to print, there are several things you can do to help
prevent unexpected problems and delays. We’ve
included information on printing-compatible software, file types, layout and design tips. And a final checklist before you send your files to the printer.
Sending Your Files Ways to send us your files:
* (CD, DVD, Zip)
* Email attachments (for small files, up to 10MB’s)
* FTP - for sending large files
CD, DVD, Zip
Be sure to include the following with your files: hard copy proof, all fonts, and linked
graphics. Indicate which file or files should be printed. Include only those files required
to output the job. Extra files, that are unrelated to the job, can cause delays or
incorrect printings.
Email
* Small files (smaller than 10 MB’s) can be sent as email attachments to
transcriptpress@transcriptpress.com. In the subject line put the name of the job or your customer name. In the message area, give more specific details as to what the files are for.
* Large files should be sent to our FTP site.
FTP
* Before sending your files, please STUFF or Zip them into archives.
* Name your file(s) so we can easily identify them.
